Fail, Wander & Do Good
Version 1.0 · 7 September 2026
Short version: I ask for your first name and email so I can send you the thing you asked for. If you ticked the box, I'll also email you when there's something new. You can tell me to stop at any point and I will.
I'm Daniel, and I run Fail, Wander & Do Good on my own. I decide what happens to the details you give me here, which in data protection terms makes me the controller. You can reach me at daniel@failwanderdogood.com.
That's the lot. No tracking, no cookies, no advertising pixels, nothing following you around.
I use your email to send you the download you asked for. That's me doing the thing you requested, and it's the only thing I'll use it for unless you ticked the box.
If you ticked the box, I'll also email you occasionally about new things I've made or given away. That happens because you agreed to it, and for no other reason. Not ticking it changes nothing about getting your download.
Nobody else. I don't sell, share, rent or swap your details, and I never will.
Kit holds the list on its servers in the United States. Sending your details outside the UK is covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which Kit has signed up to, with the Information Commissioner's own International Data Transfer Agreement as a backstop. In plain terms, there's a legal safeguard in place so your details keep the same protection they'd have if they never left the country.
If you didn't tick the box, I only keep your details long enough to get your download to you and check it arrived, then I remove them. If you did tick it, I keep them until you unsubscribe or ask me to take you off, and I clear out anyone who hasn't opened anything in a couple of years.
Email me and I'll sort it, normally the same day and always within a month. It's free and you don't need to give a reason.
Tell me first and I'll try to put it right. If that doesn't work, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If I change how any of this works, I'll update this page and change the version number at the top.
